Grief In Progress / Work In Progress
Eleven months ago my partner and best friend passed away suddenly. I know it has been eleven months because I can count back the days on the calendar, and yet, it must have happened yesterday. This disregard grief has for standar measured time can distort the world around us. This new body of work is very much in progress, but, considers the process of grief related to; the nature of time, permanence of digital artifacts, impermanence of memory, and the difficulty of letting go in the data-rich landscape of today.
